PEDRO RAMOS

Thanks to the efforts of our missionaries in Bolivia and Argentina we have been able to followup some contacts they previously made in Guatemala. Such is the case of Radio Plenitud, where one of the directors accepted samples of the programs. Now our prayer is that they will broadcast our material. Our missionary in Argentina, Daniel Sarmiento, gave us the names of a couple of directors of different radio stations.

I immediately contacted them, and as soon as they heard the programs, they agreed to transmit both the long and short productions.
We praise the Lord because the radio ministry is growing not only in Guatemala, but also in El Salvador, where a pastor in San Salvador, and another one in Santa Ana, have expressed a great desire to use our programs. Their churches have decided to sponsor the broadcasts.
In the local ministry we praise God for the opportunity to visit a village known as “El Rosario”, in the department of Zacapa. We held a devotional at the local church, and distributed several toys to the children. They were excited to receive candies and toys. God touched the hearts of three people who decided to give their hearts to the Lord. We gave a Bible to each one of them. During the afternoon we had a soccer game with a local team. During the halftime our team distributed our “Jesus Saves” booklets among the people of this town who were enjoying watching the game. Our prayer is that the Lord may touch the hearts of those who received the booklets.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • We are thankful to the Lord for the way He protected my wife during the surgery that she had in December, and for her complete recovery
  • We praise God for His faithful provision for each of our needs, especially for His provision to pay our son’s tuition
  • For wisdom in following up each one of the stations that are transmitting our programs, and for diligence to expand the number of stations as we are planning to travel into different regions in Guatemala
