June Newsletter

It’s true that the financial turmoil is affecting seriously every aspect of our lives. The gas prices are creating incredible stress, and are provoking the rise in the price of food and other aspects of our daily lives. Our ministry, just as many other Christian organizations and churches, is feeling the effects of the economical situation, since people cannot give toward missions. But we praise the Lord because although the present situation affects many believers, as much as it is affecting us, through the faithful prayers and financial support we keep sharing the Gospel every day all over Latin America.

We are sure that behind this economical stress, Satan wants to bring discouragement to our hearts and to our efforts to share the Gospel. But we praise Him because the message of Salvation doesn’t depend on the price of the oil, or the situation with the real estate. Through each monthly report that we receive from all of our missionaries, we confirm that God doesn’t want us to stop because of the financial turmoil. Melvin Zelaya, in Honduras, shared with us that the Lord is opening doors for our programs in radio stations, and recently in a TV cable station. As I read Melvin’s report, my first reaction was: “Our radio programs through a cable station?” Yes, about 10,000 clients that receive TV signal through this cable company also receive our programs. Our missionary visited the owner of this company to explain to him the purpose of our programs. Immediately he told Melvin that he would be willing to transmit both of them. Few weeks later, a young man who heard our programs through cable, realized that he needed to accept Jesus as his Savior. God transformed his life, his family, and even his job. He is a travel bus driver. As he accepted the Lord, he contacted Melvin to ask for our programs. His desire is to play the programs while he is driving the bus, to give the people who are traveling on the bus, the opportunity to hear to the Gospel.

Paul in his letter to the Galatians said: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (6:9). What a confidence to know that there will be a time to reap. Meanwhile, you and we must continue doing good by letting others know that Christ is the Savior. Our hope is that as you visit our page, God will call you to join us in our task to produce, send, and distribute our programs, so that people like the bus driver and many others all over Latin America, may come to know the Lord Jesus!

In His love,
Daniel Sandoval
