They give away the CD’s to people from the church that are sick and can’t attend the services. Another believer in Cusco asked for the programs in order to use them as an evangelistic tool on the streets. I then traveled to Ecuador, visiting 3 cities and giving out over 200 samples to radio stations and churches interested in sponsoring our programs. So far one radio station has confirmed the transmission of our material.
Recently my wife was blessed to talk with a lady who listens to a local Christian radio station. It has been quite difficult for this dear radio listener to understand that salvation is given by grace alone, and only through the Lord Jesus Christ. My wife gave her some literature, and is trusting that the Holly Spirit will touch this lady’s heart. God also gave me the opportunity to share the Gospel with a young man using SWM’s booklet “Jesus Saves”. After some time he made the decision to accept Jesus as his personal savior.
A special thanks that we have as a family is for God’s faithful protection. The day we returned from our trip to Ecuador, the driver of the taxi took us down an unfamiliar road. A few miles later we were stopped by two men with guns. They stole our belongings and our money, but we praise God that in spite of the great danger that we faced, He protected us of any harm. We also praise Him for His protection during an accident that a group of ladies from our church had as they were returning from a Christian camp. My wife had some injuries, but she has recovered well.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• For the spiritual growth of the man I was able to lead to the Lord, and for the lady with whom my wife was able to share the Gospel. Please pray that she may be sensitive to God’s voice. Also pray for the thousands of people that are hearing the message of salvation on several radio stations in Peru, and now in Ecuador, through our programs
  
• For the stations that are reviewing samples of our programs, especially an important radio station in Lima which will be making a decision soon
  
• For the opportunities that the Lord has given us to share His Word in an upcoming camp meeting near Lima, as well for some visits that I will be making to radio stations and pastor in that city
  
• For God’s protection for my family and me during the assault that took place after our trip to Ecuador
  
• For God’s protection of my wife during the accident she had with the ladies from the church. Please pray for 2 of the ladies who are still facing serious consequences as a result of this accident
